Scoot Education compensates all hourly, non-exempt employees one-and-a-half times their regular wage rate for all hours worked classified as overtime.
The company’s workweek begins on Monday at 7am and ends on Friday at 4:30pm.
At times, employees may be asked to work overtime to complete necessary work tasks. Anything over the 40 hours worked is considered overtime; please note that breaks and lunches are not included in the hours worked. The employee’s TeachStart Consultant will notify the employee as early as possible regarding scheduling needs.
Employees who want to work overtime must receive written authorization from a TeachStart Consultant before working overtime.
