Scoot may terminate a fellow's agreement based on too many instances where they are unavailable and/or decline available assignments. Specifically, Scoot may terminate a fellow's agreement in its discretion if:
- They are unavailable for work three or more times unless you are using earned sick leave or have another legally valid excuse;
- Three or more schools ask Scoot that you do not return; or
- Late to work three or more times, with lateness defined as not arriving by the start of the assignment or within one hour of receiving the assignment when it is given on the same day.
Please note, fellows may decline assignments that require more than one hour travel from your home. Declining assignments within one hour of your home will be considered an absence.
