Our partnership with Alliant is one of the most beneficial parts of the program that we can offer to our fellows. Enrollment allows fellows to work towards their teaching certification with flexibility and low tuition.
Here's a bit about our partnership:
- Alliant offers TeachStart specific webinars to support fellows with the application process
- Fellows do pay upfront costs when enrolling to Alliant, tuition is discounted*
- Alliant is a fully online, asynchronous certification program
- Once hired as teacher, work under intern credential while completing Alliant program
Important:
- If a fellow has already taken courses at Alliant, then they will not be eligible for the TeachStart grant.
- TS and Alliant worked together to create the TeachStart Grant which reduces the rate per credit hour from $748 to $317 for all TeachStart Scholar+ Fellows.
